There’s a new 7-yr. itch to scratch!

Feeling restless and bored? Ever thought about being a storm chaser? Felt an urgent urge to innovate and invent something new and ingenious? Or ride a roller coaster hands in the air–recklessness to avoid boredom?

Like Dry Lightning, you won’t see it coming. Uranus will be in pioneering Gemini, the sign associated with innovations in communication and brilliant out of the box thinkers, from April 25, 2026 to May 22, 2033. This transit brings sudden shifts in established communication systems, a surge in new technologies, and a wildfire of data that re-defines what it means to be in the know--and in the now.

AI Storm Chasers

There will be many exceptions to all the rules! We’ve just begun this new 7-yr. itch for more freedom to change and abandon the status quo. And in our excitement, we’ll rebel against anyone or any wall that tries to restrain us. We’ll be joiners of Think Tanks and startups and French soirées so that we can get a booster shot of innovation. Yet it’s always up to our perception of things and changes. Whether we get dry or wet lightning depends on which side of the mountain we’re on. Wind in our faces or wind in our sails.

Thunderous Wake-up Calls

This wakeup call from the cosmos feels urgent. We’ll want to pick up the pace like the goddess of victory, Nike, and just do it.

Do it like Benjamin Franklin!* On a beach day in the late afternoon, when a thunder cloud rolls in and we can see lightning strikes in the distance, most of us would gather our kids and towels and run for safety…unless you’re tuned to the vibes of Curious Gemini’s ingenious thinking.

If so, you’d rather grab some string, attach a key to a kite, and let it fly in the storm–trying to tease from the dark clouds an electrical surge, which by the way is traveling at about 220,000 mph, to strike the key and sizzle your fingertips.

Before April 24, 2026, Uranus was in Taurus, which was all about tremendous determination and fixity of purpose, albeit with some unyielding stubbornness. The god of lightning kept landing on rocks and in mud. Not his happy place. Uranus likes to be in Gemini, believing variety is the spice of life and curiosity it’s lifeblood.

In the past 7 years, while Uranus was in CFO Taurus (from May 13, 2018, to now), progress frequently got muddy and muddled in subservience to overly conservative systems–like government or corporations–that rigidly held onto the status quo and the values of a greedy materialism that felt safe. Taurus has the energy of an efficient stewart of money and a collector of beautiful art. But when the fast-paced god of lightning shows up, a type of bullheaded stubbornness sets in–like continuously hitting the snooze button on your alarm clock. “Nobody tells me what to do!”

Think about the symbol of Wall Street: A 7,000-pound bronze Charging Bull statue. The bull is an astrological symbol associated with the tenacity and focus of Taurus’ vibes. Its dark side is a raging readiness to trample any threat to its version of security–like a bull market and money in the bank.

It’s a Wordsmith’s Dreamtime

What happens to our power of decision when everything is debatable? You may deliberately engross yourself in hours and hours of debate about pretty much anything, so watch out for getting obsessed with trivial pursuits.

Wind in your mental sails can surge in like an unexpected tornado. You can use it to push yourself out of any ol’ rut or obsession. Uranus in Gemini marks a time of innovative ideas so far out of the box that they grow wings!

A Plethora — of Everything

Q. Here’s one big question in the Gemini think-tank, where anything is up for debate anytime: How much power do my decisions have?

A. Gemini Answer: It’s debatable. With Uranus in Gemini we’re unlikely to stick to the task at hand. Diversions are welcomed as a relief from boredom. We’ll enjoy changing our minds many times in one day just for the fun of scratching a mental itch.

Chatty and curious Gemini energy loves variety and roller coasters, roller skates and pole vaulting over obstacles.

 “I think therefore I am.”

Science is proving what spirit already knows– that our thoughts are powerful creators of “reality”. Our thoughts are things that can manifest in the physical world.–depending on the degree of emotional zeal you invest in them. Think about it! Because it happens all the time, whether we consciously know it or not.

Who do you want to be, and what do you want to do? It’s all your choice. Choice is a precious mental freedom and Gemini energy is keenly aware of this.

“There’s a choice we’re making. We’re saving our own lives.”**
